T his is a very big railway station in Liverpool. Lime Street. Intercity services run from major towns and cities into Liverpool Lime Street Station. Liverpool Lime Street railway station on Lime Street is the mainline railway station serving Liverpool, England. The station lies on the Liverpool branch of the West Coast Main Line to London Euston and Glasgow Central.
Network Rail owns and manages Liverpool Lime Street station. The station is on the ‘Gateway’ to Liverpool City centre and is the focus of two major development schemes designed to reveal the Grade II listed structure and provide a new focus and hub for the city. Redevelopment work of the Liverpool Lime Street station Short Stay car park is due to commence in October 2006. This will cause minor disruption to our customers. Temporary Short Stay car parking will be provided in Lord Nelson Street with a limited number of spaces; this temporary car park will have a 20 minute ONLY waiting period.
